Manteno Construction
Construction has begun!
On Thursday, May 21st, we officially broke ground on the site of our newest branch at 198 South Creek Drive in Manteno. We ordered "no rain" for the event, and it worked!
"We're excited to start construction and have our new full-service branch ready to serve our customers here in Manteno," stated Jeff Hammes, President of Peoples Bank. "Hopefully, about the time when it's safe to convene in public spaces again, we will offer a modern, attractive facility to this area, along with all of the convenient online and mobile services people need today. We're committed to Manteno and to Kankakee County, and we've built our name on trust and offering top notch customer service. We truly want to serve our customers, and help them through buying their home, starting their business or planning for retirement."
Our new branch will feature a modern design with special amenities like a waiting area with a fireplace and cafe, a community conference room and of course we'll offer specially designated golf cart parking! The branch will be full-service, offering drive thru facilities, an ATM that will accept deposits, and safe deposit boxes.
